How BlueDot Began
BlueDot Exports was set up in Mumbai to solve a specific problem. Markets around the world started banning single-use plastic and buyers went looking for certified alternatives. India already made those products at scale, but sourcing them meant dealing with many factories, inconsistent quality and export paperwork that often went wrong. We built BlueDot to sit in that gap.
We started with sugarcane bagasse tableware, a by-product of an industry India already leads. Today the range covers eight material categories, including wood, areca leaf, bamboo and paper. Every product is made to spec, tested by third-party labs and compliant with the standards of the market it lands in. We check quality at each stage, from raw material through to the finished carton.
We ship to buyers in the UK, United States, UAE and across Europe, moving cargo through Nhava Sheva (JNPT) and Mundra. Both give us good freight rates and dependable sailing schedules. Most of our buyers come back for a second order, which is the part of the business we care about most.
Mission & Vision
Our Purpose
We exist to get India's sustainable products in front of buyers who want them. That means doing the unglamorous parts well: specs, certificates, paperwork, shipping dates.
Reducing Plastic Waste
Our disposables range exists to replace single-use plastic in food service and household use. Bagasse tableware, PLA, bamboo, compostable bin liners. Everything we export is certified compostable or biodegradable.
Logistics Excellence
We are based near Nhava Sheva, India's largest container port. That gives us competitive freight, quick turnaround and complete export documentation for every market we ship to.
Proudly Made in India
Every product we export is made in the finest manufacturing facilities of India. We are proud to support Indian industry and bring the world the best that India has to offer.
