What Makes Bagasse Different
No Leach, No Liner
Bagasse resists grease and moisture on its own. There is no PFAS coating and no PE liner, which is what makes it compostable all the way through.
Microwave & Freezer Safe
Unlike most plant-based alternatives, bagasse handles both heat and cold, which suits meal-kit programmes, airline catering and delivery.
Sugarcane Surplus, Not Deforestation
Bagasse is an agricultural by-product. No new land is cleared, no trees are cut. One tonne of sugarcane produces ~280 kg of bagasse that would otherwise be burned.

What exactly is bagasse and is it truly compostable?
Bagasse is the fibrous pulp left after sugarcane juice is extracted. It is 100% plant-based, contains no synthetic additives, and meets EN 13432 (Europe) and ASTM D6400 (USA) industrial compostability standards. In certified industrial composting facilities it disintegrates within 90 days, leaving no microplastics.
Can bagasse plates and containers hold hot food and liquids?
Yes. Our bagasse tableware is tested to 120°C and holds hot curries, soups, and beverages without softening or leaking. The natural fibre structure resists moisture and grease on its own, so our standard range needs no PFAS or PE lining.
What is the minimum order quantity for bagasse products?
Minimum order is 500 cartons. You can mix SKUs across the range to reach it, so a single shipment can cover plates, bowls, containers and trays. Both LCL and FCL are accepted.
Do you offer private label and custom printing?
Yes. We offer custom packaging, branded inserts and custom outer carton printing. Private label orders require one full container (FCL). Lead time increases by 5-7 working days for custom-branded orders.
What certifications do your bagasse products carry?
Our suppliers hold EN 13432, ASTM D6400, BPI, FDA 21 CFR 176.170, EU 1935/2004, and ISO 9001. SGS, Intertek, or Bureau Veritas test reports are available per SKU on request. All documents are provided before shipment.
